Location booking terms.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Villa Home Studios LLC, and "production" means the company or person requesting a booking.

Requests and approval

• A request sent through this site is not a booking. We review every request and may approve or decline it at our discretion.
• Nothing is booked until we confirm it in writing.
• Bookings run from one day up to 28 days.
• Payment and deposit details, including any deposit amount and due dates, are sent with the approval. The booking is held only once those terms are met.

Performers and records

• Every performer must be 18 or older and hold valid government issued photo ID.
• The production must create and keep the age and consent records required by federal law, including 18 U.S.C. 2257 and its regulations, and must comply with all other laws that apply to the production.
• We may ask for confirmation of these points before or during a booking. If we can't confirm them, we may cancel the booking.

Insurance

The production must carry its own general liability insurance for the full booking and send us a certificate of insurance before the first shoot day. We may ask that the certificate name additional insureds.

Permits

The production is responsible for any film permits required for the shoot. In Los Angeles, permits are issued through FilmLA. Please send us a copy of any permit before the first shoot day.

Use of the home

• Crew size. The number of people on set, cast and crew together, may not exceed the limit given for the home or in your approval.
• No damage. Protect floors, walls and furnishings. Any damage must be reported to us right away. The production is responsible for the cost of repairing damage it causes.
• Leave the home as found. Return furniture to its place, remove all equipment and rubbish, and leave the home clean.
• Neighbors. Keep noise down, park considerately and follow any parking instructions we give.
• Not visible to neighbors. No street facing or outdoor scenes that can be seen by neighbors or from the street unless we have approved them in writing before the shoot.
• Only the dates, times, rooms and areas in your approval may be used. Smoking and anything illegal are not allowed in the home or on the property.

Access and our team

We handle scheduling and access, and we are on site or on call during each booking. Follow any reasonable instruction from our team about the home. We may end a booking early if these terms are seriously broken.

Discretion

We never publish street addresses. The address and access details are shared with the production once the booking is confirmed, and must not be shared beyond the people who need them for the shoot.

Changes and cancellations

Changes to dates, crew size or scope must be agreed in writing. Cancellation terms for your booking are set out in the written approval we send you.
