Where to film OnlyFans content in Los Angeles.
Creators in Los Angeles usually choose between a private house whose owner has agreed to adult content, a content studio whose rules allow it, or their own home. Whichever you choose, get written permission from whoever controls the property, keep your own 2257 records as the producer, and check permits with FilmLA or your city.
Your main options
| Option | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| House whose owner agrees | Real rooms, daylight, several looks in one day | Crew limits and neighbor rules |
| Content studio | Controlled light, built sets | Each listing's own rules on adult filming |
| Your own home | No booking needed | Lease or association rules, permits, neighbors |
| Vacation rental | Rarely suitable | Platform and host permission |
1. A private house whose owner has agreed
A house gives you a kitchen, a living room, bedrooms and often a pool, so you can shoot a lot of varied content without moving. The key is an owner who knows what the shoot is and has agreed to it. Every home on our locations page belongs to an owner who has agreed to production use and approves each booking, with the house rules in writing. Bookings run from one day up to 28 days.
2. A content studio that allows it
Studios give you control of light and sound and sometimes built sets. Rules vary by space and by platform. On Giggster, listings show an "Adult filming" item in their Location Rules, set by each host. Peerspace's booking guidelines say "we don't allow sex work or similar activities at our venues." Read each listing's rules. Our platform comparison has the details.
3. Your own home
Shooting at home is simple, but it is still your responsibility to check what applies. If you rent, read your lease. If your home has a homeowners association, read its rules. FilmLA says permits are required for commercial filming in most areas it serves and calls it a myth that no permit is needed on private property, so check with FilmLA or your city's permit office.
Neighbors notice when a house becomes a busy content house. NBC4 reported neighbor complaints about a content house in Encino in June 2026. Small crews, considerate parking and keeping every scene out of view go a long way.
4. A vacation rental
Airbnb's Help Center says guests should not do commercial filming or photography where house rules prohibit it, and need the host's documented permission. Read can you film OnlyFans content in an Airbnb before you book one for a shoot.
Paperwork that comes with you, wherever you shoot
- Age and records. An independent creator who produces explicit content is a producer. Under 18 U.S.C. 2257, the producer checks each performer's age with an identification document, keeps the records and includes a statement of where they are kept.
- Permits. Check with FilmLA or the city's permit office. See the Los Angeles adult production compliance guide.
- Insurance. Our homes require the production's own general liability insurance, with a certificate sent before the first shoot day.
This is general information, not legal advice. Adult Content Locations provides locations only. We do not hire, manage or keep records for performers.
