Which rental platforms allow adult shoots?
Policies differ by platform. Peerspace's booking guidelines say it does not allow sex work or similar activities at its venues. Airbnb says guests should not do commercial filming or photography where house rules prohibit it and need the host's documented permission. Giggster lets each host mark "Adult filming" in a listing's rules.
Policies change. This page summarizes each platform's own published policy as reviewed in October 2026, with links, so you can check the current text yourself. It is not legal advice and not a statement on behalf of any platform.

Peerspace
Peerspace's booking guidelines state: "we don't allow sex work or similar activities at our venues." Its community guidelines also bar content promoting "obscene content." If you are planning an adult shoot, read both before you book a space there.
Airbnb
Airbnb's Help Center says guests should not do commercial film or photography when the listing's house rules prohibit it, and need the host's documented permission. NBC4 reported in 2016 that Airbnb banned guests after a porn shoot at a rental and described a "zero tolerance" approach. We cover this in more detail in can you film OnlyFans content in an Airbnb.
Giggster
Giggster listings include a Location Rules list, and listings show an "Adult filming" item that each host sets. To know whether a space allows it, open the listing and read that rule. Giggster's renting guidelines did not mention adult content when we reviewed them, so the listing rule and your written agreement with the host are what count.
What this means for your booking
- Read the platform's current policy and the listing's own rules before you pay.
- Tell the host exactly what the shoot is, and get permission for adult production in writing.
- Keep your own compliance in order: performer age records under 2257, permits and insurance. See the Los Angeles adult production compliance guide.
