A porn house rental is a private home whose owner has agreed, in writing, to adult film or photo production on site. In Los Angeles the safest way to book one is through a service where every owner has approved adult use and every booking is confirmed in writing, so the shoot is never at risk of being shut down halfway through.
What a porn house rental is
Productions call it many things: a porn house, a shoot house, a content house or an adult film location. They all mean the same thing. It is a private residence rented for a short shoot, where the owner knows exactly what will be filmed and has agreed to it. That agreement is what separates a real booking from a vacation rental that happens to have a nice pool.
Why not a regular vacation rental
Most short term rental platforms do not allow it without the host's permission. Airbnb's Help Center says guests need the host's documented permission for commercial filming, and must not film when the house rules prohibit it. Peerspace's booking guidelines list what is not allowed on its platform. NBC4 Los Angeles reported in 2016 that Airbnb banned guests after a porn shoot. What you need before booking
- Every performer 18 or older with valid government photo ID.
- Records under 18 U.S.C. 2257, kept by the producer.
- General liability insurance for the full booking, with a certificate sent before the first shoot day.

- A crew count that fits the home's limit, counting cast and crew together.

How booking works here

- Send a request with your dates, crew size and production details. Bookings run from one day up to 28 days, up to 18 months ahead.
- Get written confirmation. Nothing is booked until we confirm it in writing, with the payment, deposit and cancellation terms.

Discretion and neighbors
We never publish street addresses. The address and access details go only to the confirmed production. Scenes must not be visible to neighbors or the street without written approval, and productions keep noise down and follow our parking instructions. Smoking and anything illegal are not allowed on the property.
